Baron Von Swine’s Spa Vacation (and Triumphant Return!)

Hey pals, Baron Von Swine here—your favorite dapper pig from Rudy’s Bar & Grill! If you’ve ever strolled down 9th Avenue and spotted a handsome hog in a red jacket waving hello, yep, that’s me. I’ve been standing sentry outside Rudy’s for years, rain or shine, always ready for a photo op, a high-five, or just to welcome you in for a cold one.

But hey, even a celebrity pig like me needs a little R&R sometimes. After all those years in the NYC elements (and endless selfies), my paint was starting to look a little worse for wear. Take a look at what I was working with:

Oof! Even the most cheerful mascot can’t look sharp forever without a little help. So, I packed my imaginary suitcase and headed off for what I like to call my “spa vacation”—AKA, getting a fresh paint job and a little restoration. (A pig’s gotta stay camera-ready, you know?)

While I was off getting pampered, I was dreaming of all the good times at Rudy’s: the laughter, the stories, and the endless parade of new friends. But don’t worry, I didn’t stay away long...

Because I’m BACK, baby—looking shinier, brighter, and ready for another round of photos (and maybe a few more hoof bumps). Come say hi outside Rudy’s Bar & Grill, snap a pic, and let’s keep the good times rolling!
